Sportsground Irrigation Mapping
In late 2020, 12P Consulting was engaged to document the irrigation system at Ackerly Oval in Benalla and to model different sprinkler heads to determine whether the existing configuration could be improved. Using a combination of ground and aerial survey, we were able to map the site and determine which sprinkler heads were not spraying correctly.
Further, a number of models were produced to determine the reach of each sprinkler head to give adequate coverage over the sporting field. The drawings and analysis provided the sports club with the means to trouble shoot the existing irrigation system and ultimately install an updated layout to improve the grass quality over the sports field.
