Corowa Pool Construction

The Corowa Aquatic Centre is a $10m facility that commenced construction in early 2020. The development includes a 50m pool set within the Ball Park Precinct, a 25m indoor pool, indoor program pool, kids’ splashpark and café. 12P Consulting was engaged by Federation Council to monitor the project progression and acquire fixed position timelapse photography and an aerial overivew timeseries to showcase the construction progress.

The site was surveyed with a Phantom 4 RTK aircraft 6 times during the construction. Each time, the aerial images were precisely stitched together to create a georeferenced orthophoto, which allowed the construction sequence to be played back.
